All orders are subject by the purchaser to the acceptance of our terms and conditions as set out below.

All products are subject to availability. Sometimes product specifications from the manufacturer change, in such instances we will do our best to offer you similar alternative. All are sizes and measurements are approximate but we do try to make sure they are as accurate as possible.

All products ordered are subject to acceptance of your order by ourselves, Comfort and Care.

Free Home Demonstrations and Free Delivery is applicable to orders within 6 miles of Comfort and Care's showroom in Tyldesley Manchester, subject to a minimum order value of £20.00

Comfort and Care are under no liability to the customer for any indirect loss and/or expense (including loss of profit) suffered by the customer arising out of a breach by Comfort and Care of this contract.

In the event of any breach of this contract by Comfort and Care, the remedies of the buyer shall be limited to damages and in no circumstances shall the liability exceed the price of the products.

Comfort and Care are under no obligation to fulfil an order and accepts no responsibility for loss caused should the items be out of stock or no longer available or the credit card information given is invalid.

If we are unable to fulfil your order for whatever reason you will be notified by phone or email.

An item cannot be reserved unless paid for in full.

Payments can be made via Visa and MasterCard credit cards, or Switch and Delta Debit cards.

Payment may also be made via a personal cheque, but the funds must be cleared before despatch of goods.

Order Cancellation.
Upon acceptance of your order you may cancel at any time between placing your order and up to seven days after receipt of the goods, excluding goods that have been specifically manufactured for your order.

Cancellation must be made by email. You will be given a Returns Authorisation Number for tracking purposes.

Once you have cancelled the order you have a legal 'duty of care' to take good care of the goods.

You must return the goods at your expense to the address given to you on the Returns Authorisation Form.

We would advise a recorded delivery for small items, and an insured delivery for larger items, and of more value.

The refund will be processed within 30 days of the order date.

Where goods have been returned in a poor state a 20% restocking fee shall apply.

All goods sold via the Internet are sold in accordance with the consumer protection (distance selling) Regulations 2000.

Pricing and VAT Relief.
The majority of the products we supply are designed for the relief of chronic illness or disability, and therefore providing they are purchased by those who are eligible can purchase them at a price that excludes VAT at the current rate. Please note that VAT relief does not apply to all products.

The Prices for products that are eligible for VAT relief are shown without VAT, all other products are priced including VAT. All prices are in Pounds Sterling.

To claim VAT relief you must be either chronically sick or disabled and are purchasing goods for personal and domestic use, which are relevant to your disability and are able to complete a full declaration.
